Welcome to Heart of Worship Community Church. It is not by accident or coincidence that you are visiting this website. I have always prayed for divine appointment, and this my friend is one of them.  I thank you for your time in reviewing this site. I hope that you find it to be informative, but most of all I hope that it acts as a tool to plant the seeds that you or somebody else may be in need of. 

I have been in church the majority of my life and have been used by God in many ways.  It all started at the age of 8 years old when I was led to salvation.  At 9 years old, I wanted to learn to play the piano. My family did not have the means to purchase one, let alone the lessons. The Pastor of the church my family attended handed me a key and stated that there was no one to teach me the piano, but I could go in after hours and practice.  It was just God and I in that church, and I prayed with all my might for Him to teach me how to play, and He did.  By 13 years old I was leading Worship in church.  

The next thing I asked from the Lord was  to teach me how to write gospel songs and how to sing. Asking in faith, He provided yet again.  My wife and I have had many discussions about child like faith.  I can honestly say, there is nothing more pure or beautiful. I know that everything that I asked God as a child, He smiled upon me and blessed me with it. 

Over the years, God has taken the gifts He blessed me with and has utilized them in His Ministry.  I have been involved as a Worship Leader for close to 23 years and have been involved in almost all aspects of ministry.  Everything from being a Sunday School Teacher, to a Youth Pastor, all the way leading up to the pastorialship I presently hold. 

I have learned a lot in my walk with the Lord.  I know that God is always faithful, His Word is indeed true and never comes back void, that God is not a respecter of any person, and regardless of our past, present or future, He wants to use us all in His Ministry. 

We must work on our relationship daily with God. His Word will lead us and guide us to walk in His ways.  By praising Him, He inhabits our praise and comes into our lives with His divine presence. His anointing destroys every yoke of bondage.  The Bible states that our prayers are like a sweet smelling perfume to God.

I would like to encourage any of you that may have done anything that makes you think that you cannot be used of God to just pray for forgiveness, except that God has forgiven you,  thank Him for his "mercies that are new every morning", and finally....move forward  so that you can allow God to begin to use you the way He had always intended when He "predestined you before the foundations of the earth".  

Remember, the devils entire goal is to keep us from growing closer to God and His son Jesus Christ. Our guilt can hinder us from even attending the one place that God wants us to come together to learn about His Word, to worship His son Jesus, who is most worthy, and to draw strength from one another. 

 Hebrews 10:24-25                              "And let us consider one another, in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together."

God has a purpose as to why He wants us to come together in His house called the church.  God wants us to lift each other up in corporate prayer. The Bible states that one person praying can put 1,000 to flight, two can put 10,000 to flight, three can put 100,000 to flight and it keeps on going. Through this, you can see how believers coming together can be more powerful standing both with one another and on the Word of God. It is our job as a church, in unity, to work together to win lost souls to Jesus Christ. 

The next time you feel like God did not make you for a grand purpose, just always remember this. If God can use a donkey to speak, than surely He can use you and I.
